The particle (niniにニ) is an adverbial particle, meaning it helps describe how, when, why, or with what result an action is performed. It attaches to nouns, adjective stems, and other phrases to modify the verb that follows.
01
Forming Adverbs from な (na)-Adjectives
One of the most common uses of (niniにニ) is to turn a (nanaなナ)-adjective into an adverb. This is similar to adding "-ly" to an adjective in English (e.g., quiet → quietly). To do this, you replace the (nanaなナ) that follows the adjective with (niniにニ). The resulting adverb then describes the manner in which a verb is performed.

02
Indicating Purpose
(niniにニ) is used to mark the purpose or reason for an action, especially when combined with a verb of motion like (iku, to go), (kuru, to come), or (kaeru, to return). The structure is: Verb Stem + (niniにニ) + Verb of Motion.
