Persian has a dedicated future tense. It belongs to writing and to careful speech; in ordinary conversation people use the present tense and let the context do the work.
01
The Pattern
Conjugate (xâstankhâstanxastn), "to want", without any می (mi-), and follow it with the bare past stem of the main verb. The main verb takes no ending at all.
خواهَم رَفت
xâham raftkhâham raftxahm rft
I will go
خواهی رَفت
xâhi raftkhâhi raftxahy rft
you will go
خواهَد رَفت
xâhad raftkhâhad raftxahd rft
he will go
خواهیم رَفت
xâhim raftkhâhim raftxahym rft
we will go
خواهید رَفت
xâhid raftkhâhid raftxahyd rft
you will go
خواهَند رَفت
xâhand raftkhâhand raftxahnd rft
they will go
Only the auxiliary carries the person. The second part is frozen - the same (raftraftrft) whoever is going.
مَن پَنجشَنبِه اَز موزِه بازدید خواهَم کَرد.
man panjšanbe az muze bâzdid xâham kardman panjshanbe az muze bâzdid khâham kardmn pnjšnb az mvz bazdyd xahm krd
On Thursday I will visit the museum.

It will be cold.
مَحصولِ ما تَمامِ مُشکِلاتِ شُما را حَل خواهَد کَرد.
maḥṣul-e mâ tamâm-e moškelât-e šomâ râ ḥal xâhad kardmahsul-e mâ tamâm-e moshkelât-e shomâ râ hal khâhad kardmḥṣvl-a ma tmam-a mšklat-a šma ra ḥl xahd krd
Our product will solve all your problems.
دَر دَرسِ بَعدی، شُما لُغاتِ جَدیدِ زیادی یاد خواهید گِرِفت.
dar dars-e baʿdi šomâ loġât-e jadid-e ziyâdi yâd xâhid gereftdar dars-e ba'di shomâ loghât-e jadid-e ziyâdi yâd khâhid gereftdr drs-a bʿdy šma lġat-a jdyd-a zyyady yad xahyd grft
In the next lesson you will learn many new words.
02
Negation Goes on the Auxiliary
خِیلی گِران نَخواهَد بود.
xeyli gerân naxâhad budkheyli gerân nakhâhad budxyly gran nxahd bvd
It will not be very expensive.
03
The Everyday Alternative
Most of the time Persian simply uses the present, with a word like "tomorrow" to fix the time.
فَردا میبینَمَت.
fardâ mi-binamatfardâ mi-binamatfrda my-bynmt
I will see you tomorrow.
مَن یِکشَنبِه بِه تُو پول میدَهَم.
man yekšanbe be to pul mi-dahamman yekshanbe be to pul mi-dahammn ykšnb b t pvl my-dhm
I will give you the money on Sunday.
Both are perfectly correct. The formal future is what you meet in a weather report or an advertisement.
04
قَرار اَست (qarâr ast) for Arrangements
When the future has been agreed or planned, Persian uses (qarâr astqarâr astqrar ast), "it is arranged", with a subjunctive.
قَرار اَست بِه زودی آن را بِخَرَم.
qarâr ast be zudi ân râ bexaramqarâr ast be zudi ân râ bekharamqrar ast b zvdy an ra bxrm
I am going to buy it soon.
فَردا قَرار اَست موهایَم را بِشویَم.
fardâ qarâr ast muhâyam râ bešuyamfardâ qarâr ast muhâyam râ beshuyamfrda qrar ast mvhaym ra bšvym
