Persian compares things with two endings and one preposition, and there is almost nothing else to it. No irregular chains of the "good, better, best" kind - or rather, only two.
01
Comparative: تَر (-tar)

bozorg-tarbozorg-tarbzrg-tr

02
'Than' Is اَز (az)
Whatever you are comparing against follows (az), the same word that means "from".
این کِشوَر بِسیار بُزُرگتَر اَز بِلژیک اَست.

The comparative sits where any adjective sits - after its noun, joined by an ezafe - and the (az) phrase follows.
سِه بَرادَرِ بُزُرگتَر
se barâdar-e bozorg-tarse barâdar-e bozorg-tars bradr-a bzrg-tr

03
Superlative: تَرین (-tarin)
The superlative adds ین (-in) to the comparative, and unlike every other adjective in the language it goes before its noun.

این بِهتَرین رِستورانِ دُنیاست.

The Two Irregulars
(xubkhubxvb) and (ziyâdziyâdzyyad) normally take their comparatives from other words. A regular form with تر (-tar) does turn up in casual speech, but these are the ones to learn.
- (xubkhubxvb) - good, gives (behtarbehtarbhtr) and (behtarinbehtarinbhtryn)
- (ziyâdziyâdzyyad) - much, many, gives (bištarbishtarbyštr)
