Adjective Placement

Adjectives come after the noun they describe: (new house), (heavy bag), (cold water). This is the reverse of English word order and applies to all descriptive adjectives.

As predicates, adjectives stand alone without a linking verb: means "This bag is heavy" — no word for "is" is needed. To intensify, add before the adjective: (very big).
