-qqu-: Ask Someone To

-qqu- "ask, tell or invite someone to do it" makes the person asked the object of the verb: iserpoq "goes in" gives iseqquaa "asks him to come in".

  Could you ask the waiter to come here? (agger- "come" + -qqu-)

• Pingajussaa oqarfigaakkit eqqaamaqqullugu.

  This is the third time I had to remind you. (eqqaama- "remember" + -qqu-: lit. telling you to remember it)
